Inside - Outside Bleaching with 10% Carbamide Peroxide for dead teeth - What is this?

This is a process for dealing with dead dark teeth. It involves wearing a mouthguard and having the access cavity for the root fillling opened in order for the 10% carbamide peroxide to get inside the tooth to reduce the discolouration. The gel is held inside the tooth and within the mouthguard. The bleaching gel is changed every 2 hours.
The mouthguard is worn overnight with the gel in position. It is not necessary to wake up to change the bleaching material.
